Me:

I used to run a photo a day blog way back in the day and recently re-ignitied my interest in photography.

I also missed the fun of running a customized, self-hosted blog. While I am in the tech industry and have many of the de rigueur social media accounts – see footer below – I am generally not especially interested in using them. So here we are!

I am using Hugo to generate this site, and a very nice theme called Huge Blog Awesome.

I currently work at a non-profit as the head SRE / platform / devex engineer. In other words, I have spent 25 years of my life keep servers and services purring. Its a bit Raymond Holt, but I get a lot of satisifaction from things working well.

Other interests include spoiling my cats, beer (drinking and brewing), home automation, ttrpgs (though almost exclusively dnd 5e), and general geekery. Daring, I know.

Happily married to a wonderful woman and we have four (!) cats.
